| Old Dominion Photography is owned and operated by Jennifer and Alexander Buffalo. We actually get a lot of funny looks when we tell our clients we are a husband and wife team, or should that be wife and husband? As long as we let each other think that the other one is the boss things work just fine. In all truth we really enjoy working together and our familiarity with each other helps us get the most out of our time behine the camera | ||

Jenny has been wrangling cameras since she was in high school. We won't say how long ago that was out of respect, but she is pretty darned good. Jenny cut her teeth taking photos of the many historical re-enactments that occur on a regular basis throughout the Metropolitan Washington DC area. She has also worked as the assistant curator for the George Washington Foundation in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Jenny is the primary photographer on all of our shoots and uses Canon Digital SLR's for the most part, but she does have a soft spot for her old Pentax 35mm SLR. She is also a wonderful mother to our four children. | |

Alex has spent the last 12 years working in the IT, Video and Animation industries. He is currently a professor of animation for the Art Institute of Washington. He spent some time a while back doing on field photography for the Washington Redskins and WJFK Radio which is located in Washington, DC. Being an arty tech geek Alex really likes the Canon Digital SLR's but still hangs on to some of his 35mm SLR's from back in the day, an old Canon, a Minolta and a really old Voigtlander which is busted, so he is desperately searching for someone to fix it. He is the second camera on all weddings and location shoots and the general schlepp. |
